Not quite two months this time...
We had a visit this week from this years RIBI President Ian Thomson. He gave a short talk after the meal outlining his aims and wishes for his year in office. Full details on the District web site. He was supported by our District Governor and visiting Presidents from other local clubs including St Austell, Lostwithiel and Launceston.
The best bit of news from this week for us as a club is that our Jo Christensen our candidate for next years GSE (Group Study Exchange) trip to Nepal has been successful in her interview. Much more on that in the future.
Treasure Hunt is set to for 21st September at the B & W Electric Social Club - 1430hrs start £4 per car. I will add poster when I have learnt how to do it!!!
We have just had contact from members of Lillesand Rotary Club (Norway) four of them will be visiting us for a weekend at the end October, better stock up on the whisky!!
Future events include a gala evening of Music from the Movies performed by the award winning St Austell Town Band in the Public Rooms, Bodmin at 7.30.p.m. on 22nd November. Tickets will be on sale at £7.50 each from the beginning of October and members of the audience are welcome to dress as film stars or characters from famous films. It will be a fun evening.

The Overseas Project Team are heading off to Kosova this month with another couple of ambulances and equipment for an Accident and Emergency Department.
